On July 2, the Sports Medicine Symposium was held at the ARCUS Sports Clinic in Germany.
The last two years in particular have shown the important role that modern sports medicine can play in society as a whole (especially in recreational and popular sports) and the potential that has not yet been exploited.

It was a highly interesting sports medicine event, where practical as well as evidence-based publications were presented.
The sonography part was organized and supported by Canon Medical Systems.
Our Luminary Dr. Ralf Doyscher (team physician of the Bundesliga football team of Borrusia Mönchengladbach) gave a lecture on sonography-assisted injection therapy of the ankle joint.

On 19 December 2020, Canon Medical held the second instalment of its Global Sports Medicine Forum, entitled The Importance of Diagnosis in the Assessment of Muscle and Tendon Injuries and Recent Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Managing Sport Injuries.
The event, which was held during a joint meeting of The Japanese Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Japanese Orthopaedic Society of Knee, Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine, provided physicians from around the world with exclusive access to leading thinkers in the field.
